In place of the V4 Tamper's standard flat base or Heavy Tamper's ripple base, each of the alternate bases produces a varying bed shape and corresponding influence on extraction dynamics by mitigating unwanted side-channelling and by encouraging controlled and even saturation.

Available in your choice of diameter and base style to suit your filter basket size and brewing preferences.

Designed to assist with your espresso workflow consistency.

Bases are interchangeable with V4 Spring-loaded Tamper's standard flat base.

Convex and Ripple/Waffle indentations are designed to promote more controlled saturation of the coffee bed with mitigated risk of side-channelling or donut extractions.

Compatible with various espresso machines and filter basket sizes.

58.5mm is compatible with Flair 58 and other 58.5mm baskets.

53.3mm is compatible with Aram, Breville 54mm and La Spaziale S1 baskets.
